Conservation District

Each year the conservation district hosts a tour of projects that have been completed for area dignitaries and producers. It is a great way for everyone to see what we do!

The tour looked at a windbreak that was established by Brent Barrus. The district sells trees that are great for windbreaks.

The annual tour last year was held in July. The field tour looked at clear seeded alfalfa test plots, a five year old windbreak, and streambank stabilization sites.

Cleve Bagley and Denise Adkins (NRCS) monitor a biological control leafy spurge site.
